Move off a legacy system without a lost day.

Legacy systems moved to a modern stack without losing data or a working day.

Legacy System Migration & Digital Transformation

Written for organisations that cannot simply start again: a ministry, a bank, a university with fifteen years of records in a system nobody supports any more.

The work starts with an audit of the old system and a data migration plan, scoped as its own piece of work because it is usually the longest part and the one most often underestimated. The rollout runs in phases while the old system stays up, so there is always something to fall back to.

Staff training and a compliance review are part of the delivery, not an afterthought.

Process

How an engagement runs.

The same six phases every time, so you always know what is happening now and what you get at the end of it.

Week 1–2

Discover

Interview the people who will use it daily. Audit what runs today. Find the real constraint first.

  • Stakeholder interviews
  • Current-system audit

Each phase ends with something usable and a real option to stop. You keep what is built.

Questions

Consulting & digital transformation: questions we get asked.

If yours is not here, ask us directly.

That is the Consulting and Digital Transformation pillar, and it is the most common starting point for larger organisations. The old system keeps running while the new one is populated and tested, and the cutover happens in phases so there is always something to fall back to. We scope data migration as its own piece of work, because it is usually the longest part of the project and almost always the one that gets underestimated.

Not yet, and we would rather say so plainly than show you a stock screenshot. What is published is self-initiated concept work, labelled as such, plus this website and the design system it runs on. You can open and audit all of it without asking us for a reference. The day there is client work we are permitted to name, it will appear here with the client attached to it.

You do. Full IP transfer on final payment, including source files, code and the design system. No licensing, no retainer lock-in on your own assets.
